Plot Twist Farm was started in 2015, by Jason & Stella Ruggiero with a small CSA program on land just north of Titusville, Pennsylvania. In 2016, we doubled the size of our CSA and moved to family-owned land situated between Meadville and Titusville, just off state Route 27.
We believe in sustainable production methods that closely mirror the USDA organic standards. Although we are not currently certified organic, we have never used pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers on our fields. Instead, our fields are sustainably managed primarily through locally-sourced compost and cover crop rotations. We believe that healthy plants in a healthy soil yield the best results. We are currently members of the PA Preferred Network and the National Young Farmers Coalition.
Our produce is currently marketed through two outlets:
Community Supported Agriculture Program - Our CSA provides veggies to local families, every week, for 18 weeks, from mid-June through mid-October. Learn more about our CSA program here.
Local Markets - In 2019, you'll find us at the Titusville Open Air Market and the Meadville Market House. You can also find our produce at Core Goods, on Seneca Street, in Oil City.
